ILCU.com – a Social Network for Activities
ILCU (pronounced “I’ll see you”) is a new activities-based social network. Members post events and activities they’re having, or planning to attend – a party, a movie, a lecture, you name it – and anyone can browse through the listings of activities and pick the ones he wants to attend.

“ilcu is a gigantic network of hip-happenin’ things to do and people to do them with in your free time,” says the site’s About page. “We created ilcu to fill the gaps in our social calendars with stuff and people that make us happy. Sure there are lots of event sites online: you can see events, but you have no idea who’s going. With ilcu, you can see both”.

I interviewed Marc Hedlund, entrepreneur-in-residence at O’Reilly Media, who will give a tutorial entitled “Anatomy of a Web 2.0 Application” at the Israel Internet Association (isoc-il)’s 10th annual conference, due next month in Israel.
